Natural Skincare with A Bit Hippy

A Bit Hippy skincare review, www.mandawilde.com

Thousands of synthetic ingredients are being used in our favourite cosmetic and skincare products so, if like me, you are looking for products that are more sustainable and eco friendly then A Bit Hippy is just one of the many amazing all natural skincare companies breaking the mould.

A Bit Hippy is an Australian made company based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland that boasts a range of skincare, haircare and baby products all made from natural ingredients here in Aus.

They have sent me three of their latest products to test out and review for you guys and I even have a little surprise further down!

A Bit Hippy Skincare Review, www.mandawilde.com

The three products I recieved was the ‘Don’t Act Your Age Anti-Ageing Face Moisturiser, Tamanu for You Tamanu Oil and the Tanned Not Toasted Gradual Tanning Moisturiser. The first thing I noticed when I opened my package was the amazing scent! It smelt like the most amazing musk stick lollies (my favourite) ever and apparently it’s their own ‘hippy scent’, I thought this was a lovely touch and have kept the little card it was sprayed on in my living room.

I started testing out all the products that night and loved the results. The Tanned Not Toasted Gradual Tanning Moisturiser created a beautiful subtle glow to my skin after just two applications and doesn’t have that horrible smell you get with most tanning products. It’s best to apply before bed and in the morning you will notice that gorgeous glow and it doesn’t stain your sheets! The colour was so perfect I would recommend skipping the third day and replacing it with your usual body moisturiser then continuing use every second day for a really natural look. And no matter how hard I looked I couldn’t find a single streak!

Here’s a before and after comparison.

The Tamanu Oil is a natural topical healing agent with anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and antioxidant properties making it great for dry and acne prone skin. The oil is extracted from the nuts of the Tamanu fruit and it has a herby scent, no perfume means no nasties.

As for the Anti-Aging Face Moisturiser, I love it! It’s a great size and the pump action head delivers the perfect amount of product every time. I find it soaks into my skin beautifully even with the oil underneath and smells quite sweet. I strongly recommend this cream and will continue to use it myself.

Now to the really fun stuff! A Bit Hippy and Manda Wilde have teamed up to bring you an awesome giveaway so you can try these products for yourself! The tanning moisturiser looks great… perfect for the lead up to Spring! :)
