Products to Love, Silk Oil of Morocco

I am a sucker for good hair and skincare product and I heard about Silk Oil of Morocco quite a while ago through my modelling circles. Silk Oil of Morocco is a family owned business that originated in Brisbane and now distributes to professional hair and beauty outlets all over the world. I decided to take the plunge and contacted a local representative named Wendy. She is super lovely and I could tell she loved her products. She was kind enough to give me a few things to try for myself and this is what I found.

Argan Rep-Hair Protein Shampoo & Conditioner and Leave In Conditioner

These guys are made without sulfate so it doesn’t foam up and feel like a normal shampoo and conditioner. This can take some getting use to but once you get past the idea that it has to foam up for your hair to actually get clean it’s really amazing stuff! I’ve noticed less dandriff and less flyaways too. They also have a lovely melon berry fragrance. I’ve just had tape extensions put in my hair so I knew I had to get another two bottles. There’s a great range of shampoo and conditioners too, from intense moisture, volumizing, clarifying and one especially for blondes. I also really liked the Leave In Conditioner to put in after a shower if I felt like being lazy and leaving my hair dry naturally. Silk’s hair care range is huge! Everything you need for your hair issues is right there.

Argan Hair & Skin Treatment

This amazing little bottle last for ever! Made from Certified Organic Argan Oil and with the most divine passionfruit fragrance this has got to be my favourite product. I used this mostly in my hair to tame any frizz and to give it some more shine but you can also use this on your skin and it doesn’t leave any greasy residue. I didn’t even have to wash my hands after applying the product. It’s a beautiful product which I can’t recommend enough.

Argan Powder Foundation & Argan Shimmer

I previously used a mineral powder foundation and I really loved this product. The colour was slightly darker than my skin tone however I ended up really liking it and using it daily. The powder blended really well and I was able to blend it down my neck without having any blotchy tell-tale signs that I wasn’t really that tan! The price is comparable with other products on the market and you get a really beautiful soft kabuki brush with it too. The shimmer, this product is to die for. I use it as a highlighter on my cheeks, down my nose, inner corners of my eyes, under my eyebrows and on my cupids bow and it just looks gorgeous. You can also use this as a body shimmer too, a little on your collar bones or the tops of your breasts if you’re going out would really make your décolletage pop! Plus the packaging is really cute.

Argan Vegan Lipstain in Sangria

I love a good dark lip so I just had to try this lipstain. The packaging is really luxurious with a small doe foot applicator to ensure precise application. I recommend lining your lips as I found it bled quite a bit when I didn’t use it with liner the first time. The formula is very long wearing however I would say it is more of a lip ‘laquer’ than a stain. It definitely stays put but it has quite a thick, glossy texture.

Manda Wilde, Silk Oil of Morocco

If you are interested in checking out these products yourself I can’t recommend Wendy enough. She is lovely and will have all the answers to your questions. You can contact her here
