Superfood Skincare, the new trend in beauty

Superfood Skincare

Kale, no doubt you’ve heard of this little superfood and all these crazy health nuts steaming it and stuffing it into the fruit juices, but here’s something you may not have heard of. Kale is packed full of vitamins and minerals and a tonne of antioxidants and these antioxidants is what helps our body’s counteract oxidative damage by free radicals.  This damage is believed to be amoung the leading drivers of aging and many diseases and the smarty-pants over at Nip + Fab has taken this superfood and put it into three amazing products so you can get your daily Kale fix without the funny taste!

Superfood Skincare

“A superfood powerhouse complex of kale, watercress and almond oil enrich skin with deep vitamin nourishment and protects against external aggressions that can cause dry skin. Concentrated aloe vera and shea butter help to further sooth and improve skin texture, providing long-lasting hydration.”

The texture really surprised me, I was expecting something really light and watery but it has a more serumy consistancy and feels great on the skin!

Superfood Skincare

“A supercharged nourishing clay face mask enriched with minerals and witch hazel, works to draw away impurities without drying the skin. The addition of an advanced moisture complex helps to restore the skin’s natural barrier function to help regulate water loss to increase hydration for the skin”

Again, I was suprised by the consistancy of the mask, I was expecting it to be quite thick and even have a bit of grit to it but it is a really nice light texture and doesn’t go ‘ghost white’ when you apply it. It’s inconspicuous so you won’t freak the other half out when he sees your face!

Superfood Skincare

“Gentle enough to use around the eyes, these facial pads are enriched with superfood ingredients kale and watercress extracts to remove daily dirt and makeup whilst reinvigorating the skin with vitamins A,C and K to protect against free radical damage and retaining skin softness and elasticity”

I don’t usually use makeup removal pads, 1, because I’m too lazy and 2, because they usual sting my eyes and smell a little funky but I really love these little guys. They are great at removing stubborn panda eyes and they hold enough product to run over your entire face a few times to grab those last little bits your cleanser may have missed.

So you wanna try these products for yourself? Well you can! Nip + Fab and Manda Wilde have teamed up and are giving away a Kale Fix Pack worth over $139!!! Just head over to my instagram to see how you can win!

Much Love
